The Role
Razorpay is seeking a DevOps Engineer – Intern with excellent skills to join their engineering team. This position is part of the "Resume with Razorpay" program, focused on supporting women returning to work after a break. The DevOps Engineer is crucial to the project's success, integrating project functions and resources across the product life cycle, from planning to support.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure: Build and maintain cloud infrastructure environments.
System Management: Ensure availability, performance, security, and scalability of production systems.
Collaboration: Work with application teams to integrate DevOps practices into the development lifecycle.
Prototyping: Create solution prototypes and conduct proof of concept for new tools.
Process Automation: Design automated and scalable processes to improve efficiency and software quality, managing Infrastructure as Code and simplifying workflows.
Operations: Automate and streamline operations and processes.
Support: Troubleshoot issues, provide operational support, and engage in incident handling with a focus on post-mortem and knowledge sharing.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Experience: 1-3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps.
Cloud Infrastructure: Proven experience with AWS.
Containerization: Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
Configuration Management: Hands-on experience with Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Ruby, Perl, Python, or Go.
System Engineering: Troubleshooting and engineering exposure in Linux production environments.
Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Database Technologies: Experience with MariaDB/MySQL is a plus.
CI/CD: Knowledge of CI/CD, logging, and monitoring stacks.
IaaC: Proficiency with Terraform.
Networking: Well-versed with AWS networking.
Infrastructure Operations: Ability to manage infrastructure operations at the bank.
